This position will be hybrid work from home and based out of the Cityzen Epicentro office located in Belen, Heredia Province.

Job Summary

The Buyer position resides within the Global Order Operations team and interacts directly with Inside Sales, WWT Account Managers, Order Management, Program Managers, authorized suppliers and end-user customers when necessary. The Buyer will ensure that items and services purchased from specifised suppliers are delivered according to agreed upon terms and conditions. This role is expected to develop and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external customers. This involves working closely with suppliers to develop business relationships that help facilitate a more streamlined approach to sourcing while ensuring high levels of service are maintained.

Job Responsibilities

  • Creates run rate purchase orders
  • Follows up to ensure delivery of purchase orders
  • Supports resolution of nonconforming material
  • Maintains and disseminates routine reporting
  • Resolves routine issues as well as supports troubleshooting of more complex issues
  • Facilitates return to vendor material processes
  • Displays persistence and determination in the face of adversity
  • Conveys ideas clearly and succinctly through written communication
  • Applies a customer service mindset and strives to deliver customer delight

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree Related Field preferred

Work Experience
2+ years procurement/buyer experience, strongly prefer experience with an Information Technology company.

Strong English written and verbal communication.

Experience working in a fast paced environment.

Experience with an ERP or MRP system (Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, AS400, etc.)

Experience with Excel - specifically VLookups, Pivot tables, and basic analysis/reporting skills.
