Job Summary

The Business Operations Analyst plays in key role in supporting the team in various projects aimed at improving organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and overall performance. They assist in data collection, analysis and reporting to identify trends and provide insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness. This is an entry level position that plays a crucial role in supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Collects and analyzes data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Generates regular and ad-hoc reports for management.
  • Provides support for daily business operations, including troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth workflows.
  • Helps in the creation and coordination of training programs, workshops and other learning initiatives aimed at improving employee skills and performance.
  • Assists in creating and communicating changes, initiatives and updates to employees and other key stakeholders.
  • Assists in the detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and project statuses.

Project Administration

  • Managing project documentation and files.
  • Scheduling and coordinating project meetings.
  • Assisting with procurement and vendor management.
  • Assisting project managers in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Tracking project progress, identifying potential issues, and escalating as needed.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Preparing and distributing project status reports.
  • Supporting project change management processes.

Process Improvement and Analysis

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the entity.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to support process optimization initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing process improvement plans.
  • Creating process documentation and training materials.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
  • A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Work Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field (e.g., HR, communications, change management, business administration), including internships

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
