Position Description

The Multimedia Producer/Editor is responsible for editing audio and video content for replays and highlights, researching podcast guests, assisting with scripting, and recording occasional interviews for business leaders at World 50 Group.

Ideal candidates know how to operate professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices on location or virtually. They can own the post-production process from beginning to end, deliver products on time, and follow brand guidelines. They can work with multiple internal stakeholders and are outcome-oriented in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

The ideal individual in this position will be a multi-skilled video and audio editor/producer looking to grow and specialize in their field. This position will involve all aspects of content production, including pre-production, production, and post-production, in creating short-form video content, audio replays, and podcasts. A successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with a diverse range of stakeholders, generating new ideas, testing and learning, and executing projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities

  • Production & Post-Production:
    • Operate professional video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices on location, virtually, or in the office
    • Own the editing process from rough cut to final delivery
    • Handle various video formats and editing workflows, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Creative Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the team and provide creative input throughout the production process, contributing to the storyboard, scripting, and visual design stages
    • Work with the content, design, and brand teams to produce video and audio concepts and ensure that video and audio content supports broader organizational initiatives
    • Collaborate with leadership, other stakeholders, and the team to maintain a consistent creative vision
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met
    • Communicate with team members to allocate resources and timelines and prioritize deliverables effectively
    • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding project progress, revisions, and final approvals
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Maintain proficiency with NLE video editing software and DAWs
    • Keep current with post-production technologies
    • Ensure all video content is optimized for various platforms, including web, social media, and live events

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across departments and business leaders
  • Comfortable working remotely, hybrid, or on-site as part of a team
  • An online portfolio, work sample, or demo reel is a must
  • Ability to work with Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of audio mixing and mastering
  • Persistence, resourcefulness, drive, and ability to work proactively and independently
  • Superior quality and service standard
  • This position may require occasional travel
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Education/Experience

  • 0-2 years of experience editing or equivalent degree in a related field.
  • A knack for storytelling through audio and video
  • An online portfolio, work sample, or demo reel is required
