Withum seeks a Business Development Executive who will be responsible for expanding Withum's market position and for achieving specific related financial goals. The Business Development Executive can be based out of our Boston, MA, Braintree, MA, Providence, RI, or Woburn, MA office location. This person will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities both independently and in coordination with the Firm's Partners, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The Business Development Executive will work with the Partner group, marketing and other key staff to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the Firm. They will also help manage existing clients to ensure they stay satisfied and positive.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Primary role of the Business Development Executive is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest from potential clients
- Must plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with our Firm
- Must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship
- They are required to grow and retain existing clients by presenting new solutions and services.
- Responsible for developing a pipeline of new business coming into the Firm
- Attend industry functions, including association events, conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
- Use knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the Firm’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of business development experience
- Thorough knowledge of the related market and competitors, and the solutions/services of the accounting industry
- Familiarity or experience with Government Contracts
- College degree or relevant/equivalent work experience. MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
- Proven track record of successful business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, confidence interacting with clients and business partners, and ability to maintain professional composure in a challenging role
- Proactive, results-oriented, self-starter
- Ability to travel and to attend networking and other functions outside of normal business hours

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications. Massachusetts: $110,000 - $175,000
Rhode Island: $100,000 - $160,000
