Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing settlement of foreign exchange, interest rate swaps and other financial instruments.
  • Maintaining treasury management systems ensuring the correct recording of all transactions and overseeing technical upgrades as required.
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly reporting on Treasury activities to the Head of Treasury, Global controllers, Audit Committee and CFO.
  • Ensuring accurate accounting & reporting of Treasury transactions including month end close, reconciliations, Monetary Asset & Liability restatements, IFRS mark to markets, hedge accounting and disclosures requirements, including notes to the quarter end/ yearend financial statements.
  • Provide timely and accurate Currency & ERF analytics to senior management.
  • Ensuring all RBI & other compliance requirements pertaining to foreign exchange certifications are completed as per the timeline.
  • Managing the Treasury internal and external audit processes and engagement with auditors.
  • Working closely with Treasury Front Office to ensure operations run in line within agreed TAT and approved policy and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • A chartered accountant or equivalent education with 4 to 5 years of previous experience treasury accounting related role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of treasury, forex market, debt capital markets, financial instruments and structures.
  • Deep understanding of technical accounting mainly IFRS 9 and Proven track record of dealing with complex issues proactively and in a timely fashion.
  • Ability to translate strategic priorities into operational reality, demonstrating strong decision making skills and ability to deliver key business results.
  • Proven ability to challenge current thinking and to drive and enable continuous improvements
