Presales Deal Execution Lead - Consumer Goods & Life Sciences

The Deal Execution Lead is responsible for leading a large pursuit & supporting the Sales team in closing medium to Large sized deals in the Consumer Goods, Life Sciences or Retail industries. He/she is responsible for leading the deals from presales and solution pint of view , supporting the sales team in winning the deal by putting together a solution (in collaboration with the SMEs) that addresses client requirements while ensuring Wipro's interests are met.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Solution Development: Envision, Design and articulate Technology ad business solutions aligned with client requirements to create large deal pipeline for the sector by leveraging industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Large Deal Origination: Work with Account & Global Business lines for Lead identification of large-scale IT opportunities, collaborating closely with sales teams and engaging with prospective clients to uncover their needs, pain points, and aspirations.
  • Value Proposition (& Proposal) Development: Partner with cross-functional teams to develop commercial and business value propositions, proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations tailored to clients' unique needs and preferences. Ensure proposals are compelling, differentiated, and aligned with the organization's capabilities and value propositions.
  • Pursuit Leadership: Lead discussions, workshops, and presentations to showcase the value proposition of proposed solutions.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Foster strong collaboration and communication across internal teams, including account team, practice sales, GBL Teams, delivery, and practice teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of proposed solutions.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate technical, operational, and commercial risks associated with proposed solutions. Anticipate potential challenges and proactively develop contingency plans to address them.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the IT industry. Continuously assess and enhance large deal origination processes, methodologies, and tools to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.

    Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Masters / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Consultant, or similar role, with a track record of successfully architecting and delivering complex IT solutions.
  • Understanding of enterprise IT, infrastructure, applications, BPO and cloud technologies, with expertise in one or more domains (e.g., network, security, data management, application development).
  • Strong business acumen and client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated experience in large deal creation, business development, or sales support within the IT services or consulting industry.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and client requirements to develop strategic recommendations and value propositions.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
