Role: PLM Data Migration Consultant / Project Lead

Location: Milford, OH (remote may be acceptable depending on experience)

Education: Bachelor's Degree (one of the following);

Computer Engineering,

Computer Science, or

Electrical/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering

Experience: 2-5 years of experience administering, customizing, deploying, or migrating enterprise PLM, CAD, or ERP systems

Role:

Work with customers as a subject matter expert in PLM system transition and migration

Lead the definition and execution of custom migration solutions for CAD, Part/BoM, change management, and other related data using a proprietary ITI data migration toolkit

This is a consulting and project execution role that requires working closely with customers and an ITI solution development team to deliver fast and robust solutions

Key Technical Skills:

Ability to take customer business requirements and iterate to a detailed migration solution design then work with a development team to build it

Programing experience at a level that allows assessing and managing customer expectations against what is programmatically feasible

The ideal candidate would have complex software development experience using Python

SQL and/or familiarity with large data set analysis is a plus

Key Non-Technical Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities with minimal oversight

Strong written and verbal interaction/communication skills

Ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects

A desire to engage/interact directly with the end-customer (mostly remote) for requirements capture, test execution support, and issue assessment

Work Environment:

You will be part of a ~25 member data migration practice that focuses solely on large data migration projects. The team is primarily located in Milford, OH and Pune India.

You will work directly with the end-customer team to capture project requirements, define and oversee developing the appropriate technical solution. You will jointly test/execute the solution in a complex PLM system infrastructure and ultimately execute the production migration.

Customers are typically located in the US or Europe but occasionally elsewhere. Most work is done remotely with 1-3 on-site trips over the course of a typical 6-12 month project.
