Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense Group is seeking a technical Migration Manager to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) program. You will support an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies. Our customer maintains a highly demanding mission and requires our support to provide expert technical and professional management support to DISA enterprise Information Technology (IT) services.

You will be working in support of a large and complex IT consolidation, migration, and modernization effort towards a Single Service Provider model that provides sustainment, maintenance, Problem and Change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of the Department of Defense networks and services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate migration planning activities while monitoring and managing risks
  • Manage and oversee development of system and interface design specification documents to include description of systems, subsystems, and internal/external functions and communication interfaces
  • Lead the project team in determining client requirements and translating requirements into operational plans
  • Coach and advise team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical or operational issues
  • Support the development and implementation of an integrated master schedule balancing and deconflicting resources across multiple migration leads and teams
  • Provide regular migration updates to Government leadership; identify risks, dependencies, and propose mitigation activities to deliver migrations on schedule and within budget.
  • Staff migration teams with individuals certified in a standardized migration approach that maintains a mission-first focus that minimizes risks
  • Work across team members to document migration lessons learned for continual improvement of future migration activities
  • Identify automation opportunities for staff reductions and improved service delivery
  • Works closely with Ops Manager, DAFA Migration Leads, Mission Assurance Officers (MAOs), and Mission Integrity Teams (MITs) as part of migration Change and Release planning and execution

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience, additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
  • Experience planning and executing large/complex IT migrations and consolidations
  • Must have a minimum of ITIL Foundations level certification, or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Experience with discovery, event management and ITSM tools
  • In-depth understanding of cloud and network topologies, both transport and IP
  • Must hold a current Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarization of DISA, DOD regulations, and directives
  • Project Integration and Services experience
  • Additional ITIL Certifications

Pay Range:

Pay Range $122,200.00 - $220,900.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
