Role Overview:

We are seeking a self-motivated and ambitious Consulting Practice Leader with deep expertise in Epic Systems implementations and clinical transformation, ideally for both Inpatient and Ambulatory environments. This Partner level opportunity will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects related to the implementation and adoption of Epic Systems within healthcare and large health plan organizations. You will work closely with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and integration of Epic Systems, while adhering to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Areas of focus
  • Growth: Work with the Healthcare Consulting leadership team and account sales teams to agree and execute a targeted sales strategy to grow Wipro's EPIC Implementation business across the region
  • Relationships: As a Partner you bring a significant external network within the EPIC Systems arena that you can leverage to provide Wipro with business development opportunities. You also possess the ability to quickly forge constructive internal relationships within and across multiple Wipro practices ensuring we can take a truly 'One Wipro' approach to our clients.
  • Solutions: You will be a good 'shaper', able to pull together the best of what Wipro can offer to drive innovative solutions to client problems.
  • Team Building: Creative, collaborative, and motivating consulting leader who can focus diverse teams on common outcomes and goals. Nurturing, developing, mentoring of top talent into future consulting business leaders

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end implementation and integration projects involving Epic Systems within healthcare and payer organizations.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, goals, and objectives, and provide expert guidance on Epic Systems implementation and integration strategies.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including defining project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Manage project teams, providing direction, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze existing systems, workflows, and processes to identify functional, technical, integration stakeholder adoption requirements and potential challenges.
  • Design and implement integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow between Epic Systems and other healthcare systems.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of integrated systems.
  • Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption and utilization of the Epic Systems and related technologies to be implemented
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in healthcare technology, specifically related to Epic Systems implementation and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, clinical, and administrative staff, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the integration process.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and recommendations to clients and senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Practice leadership experience within a large consulting organisation highly preferred, with proven track record of successfully managing complex projects, including scope, budget, and timeline management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large scale healthcare IT projects, with a focus on Epic Systems implementation and integration.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Epic Systems methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and compliance as well as the differences between "on premise", remote hosted and cloud based implementations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams towards successful outcomes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Epic Systems certification(s) preferred.
