We are looking for a highly creative Brand Designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, both in print and digital media. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and launching a wide range of compelling creative projects from integrated marketing campaigns, digital and print collateral, event materials, and interactive digital experiences to drive revenue. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project. Objectives of this Role

  • Work on a wide range of print and digital projects and media, using various computer software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goals
  • Obtain input from management, ensuring designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, execute project objectives accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately
  • Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with the marketing team, meeting deadlines, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
  • Examine existing processes, identify flaws and create solutions to improve design capabilities
  • Update and maintain internal databases of designs, photography, and video

Responsibilities

  • Lead design projects from conception to completion, managing comprehensive design briefs and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
  • Create and produce a wide range of high-quality visual content, including print materials, website designs, and social media graphics
  • Ensure all visual content is consistent with brand identity and messaging, resonating well with the target audience
  • Effectively deliver feedback with agency partners to accurately represent brand vision
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, incorporating these insights into design work
  • Present design work to clients and stakeholders, providing thoughtful guidance and feedback

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, or similar discipline
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • 5+ years' experience (academic and professional) with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility and creativity
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years in professional graphic design, preferably with a creative or marketing agency
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive design
  • Desire to continue to grow skill set with ongoing education and training
  • Travel is required, 15% of the time

The national average salary for this role is $67,000 to $77,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
