Job Description:

As a QA analyst the candidate will be accountable for delivering QA on multiple concurrent IT projects. In this role they must analyze and understand requirement shared and develop test cases, build requirement traceability, analyze, understand, and create required data needed to perform end to end testing and Automation testing as expected by project team. Collaborate with project team and all stakeholders to ensure project delivery. To be successful in the role the candidate will need to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of QA skills & methodologies (Analytical, data manipulation, ad hoc testing). Candidates must be highly self-motivated and engaged with respect to leading diverse project teams that will independently deliver projects in a timely manner with a high degree of quality.

Primary Job responsibilities:
  • Proactively work on identifying Test cases, requirement traceability matrix and expand acceptance criteria for user stories.
  • Efficiently create test data by perform through analysis on the business and functional requirement and understand the upstream and downstream dependencies as well.
  • Ability to meet project milestones and outcomes throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to established quality standards
  • Ability to communicate bugs identified and follow through the defect cycle.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of SQL, to write complex quires to derive data need for testing and to read and understand Stored procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate efficiently with developers, project managers , Business analysts and other QA's in the team.
  • Ability to document questions and clarifications, conduct and document root cause analysis on missed defects.

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of IT analyst experience
  • 4+ years of experience in healthcare Industry
  • 4+ year of experience writing SQL queries
  • 4+ year of experience in EDI Transactions (837 - Claims \ Encounters, 834 - Enrollment)
  • 3+ year of experience working with Agile development methodologies
  • 3+ year of experience understanding user stories and writing test cases
  • 4+ year of experience on WEB UI testing
  • 4+ year of experience understanding and writing requirement traceability matrix, test plan, test cases
  • 4+ year of experience working with technical developers/engineer
  • Ability to analyze and document process and data flows.
  • Ability to understand and create test data using SQL as well as UI
  • Ability to understand and prioritize rapidly changing requirements and prioritize

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+year experience in using Automation tool
  • Scrum Master/Agile Practitioner
  • 2+year experience on claim adjudication
  • SQL certification
