On top of the latest S/4HANA ABAP technology stack, project specific ABAP applications will get developed and supported in a DevOps approach.

The business processes as implemented in project specific ABAP applications are related to data center management, data center operations and IT asset management.

We are looking for additional support, to enhance the existing team in a hybrid working model (remote).

Your working area & responsibilities

  • You integrate existing product architectures into our data model and document it comprehensively
  • You maintain constant communication with product teams
  • You are responsible for the development and maintenance of data models based on the existing Service-to-Service data model, ensuring they accurately represent real-world scenarios and support data base specific use cases
  • You gain in-depth understanding of various IT environments and architectures, including Kubernetes environments, to support the infrastructure requirements of the data engineering team
  • You work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams incl. analysis and work with various data dimensions to ensure data integrity, scalability, and alignment with business goals
  • You differentiate and support separate use cases, ensuring data accuracy and relevance
  • You understand and map out dependencies between different systems. You identify and document which data sources should serve as the single source of truth for individual products, ensuring consistency across the organization
  • You are responsible for the creation and maintenance of detailed data flow diagrams, ensuring they are aligned with the needs and requirements of different Lines of Business (LoBs) within the organization
  • You identify the existing systems of Lines of Business/product teams to serve as source systems for future integrations into our Asset management tool.
  • You validate data from implemented integrations to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Your skillset

  • You have a clear understanding of IT environments and can map and consume data effectively.
  • You are capable of independently researching and understanding new topics as needed.
  • You are profound in requirements engineering and can submit DEV requests to the development teams as needed.
  • You have in-depth understanding of data center management, data center operations, IT asset management processes / environments and architectures, particularly in Kubernetes environments
  • You've previously gained experience in a similar role within a technology-driven organization
  • You have a foundational understanding of Asset Management, (virtual) servers, databases, tenants, REDIS, Kafka, and SAP technologies in the design and implementation of data pipelines and integration solutions
  • You have in-depth proficiency in data modeling and application of Service-to-Service data models to real-world scenarios
  • You have extensive experience in working with various data dimensions and an ability to discern and document use cases for different data scenarios
  • You have the ability to map dependencies between systems and determine appropriate data sources for different use cases
  • You've previously gained experience in creating data flow diagrams as part of system integration processes
  • You have a high sense of responsibility and very good communication skills. You are reliable and a team player
  • You act in a committed, proactive, flexible and resilient manner
  • You enjoy dealing with demanding customers
  • You have excellent language and presentation skills in English
