The Role

The Enterprise Architect provides the vision, evolution, governance and communication of an enterprise's technical architecture to ensure it effectively and efficiently aligns with business goals. An Enterprise Architect documents the bridge between Business and IT ensuring transparency and enabling strategic technology decisions in the context of these large scale-transformations, introducing a common language and framework for business and IT to improve decision-making, increasing agility, reducing operational costs, and enhancing overall performance.

Your role will be to provide an architecture and governance that will support the most effective and reliable IT environments, satisfying an organization's IT and business requirements . You must be able to understand an organization's business mission, methodology and processes. You must document the current and future business landscape, to ensure alignment between strategic requirements and aspirations, and the applications, data, infrastructures and security required to help meet the requirements. You must defines how these architectures are going to be deployed and governed.

Your responsibilities include providing a perspective on the customer's industry and defining a solution strategy appropriate to the problem at hand. You will offer technical support to the sales force to implement new ideas and research emerging concepts and ideas. Additionally, you will integrate the latest consulting and innovation offerings into the solutions approach. Collaborating with all internal entities, you will design, solve, and document transformation solutions. You will define and propose solutions that are well integrated with the information systems (IS) and optimized for both the customer and our company. Ensuring the coherence of the technical solution and the associated cost model is crucial, as is preventing risks and potential technical impacts based on the proposed solutions. You will assist with the project's deployment, ensuring compliance with the chosen standards, and work closely with other architects. Creating processes to improve the efficiency of our customers or our own efficiency is also part of your role. You will be active in design activities, including high-level design (HLD), low-level design (LLD), and costings. Finally, you will be responsible for the performance, availability, and scalability of the infrastructure.

Who You Are

You have at least 5 years experience in the role and have a wide range of technical skills. IT and information systems modelling have no secrets for you. You have in-depth knowledge of technical standards, development methods and security standards. Your analytical skills enable you, to understand your customers' needs and you are able to adapt to them.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in IT Architecture and Consulting: 5-10 years of proven experience in data centers, IT and production departments, architectures, IT infrastructures, mobility, workstations, networks, and security.
  • Innovative Solutions Development: Ability to leverage methodologies, intellectual knowledge, technical studies, reference documents, and examples to create innovative, differentiated, and creative proposals and recommendations.
  • Passion for Innovation: Strong interest in new technologies and innovation, including automation and AI Ops.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on understanding customer problems before proposing solutions.
  • Consultative Process Lifecycle: Comprehensive understanding of the consultative process lifecycle, from initial assessment to defining, designing, and implementing solutions.
  • Holistic Vision: Ability to capture the impacts of transformation on people, processes, technology, governance, and culture, proposing solutions that address individual and integrated needs, and recommending strategies for unaddressed dimensions to develop future opportunities.
  • Portfolio Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our portfolio of offerings, particularly Business Transformation Services, to align business needs with IT solutions.
  • Industry Insight: Preferably possess industry knowledge or a keen interest in linking customer industry issues, challenges, and best practice solutions.
  • Leadership: Lead and guide the architects of each practice towards a unified and comprehensive solution.
  • Strategic Skills: Essential skills include strategic communication, analysis, and negotiation.
  • Fluent French: Mandatory.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to work on several projects at the same time
  • Ability to diagnose problems quickly
  • IT skills in Engineering and Architecture
  • Computing technologies: SDE (Software Defined Environment) infrastructures, Containers and Microservices, Object storage
  • Public Cloud Computing solutions: AWS, Google Platform, Azure
  • IT Department processes and organisation (ITIL practices, DevSecOPs, ChatOps, FinOps, SRE)
  • Examples of certification: TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture, Agile, ITIL
