Role Description

3+ years clinical EHR experience

Working knowledge of ICD-10 codes

Comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology

Effective written, verbal, and electronic communication skills

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse population

Attention to detail and ability to proficiently read and interpret medical records

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions; must be able to think logically and critically

Strong organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills

Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy & Security

Proficiency in computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote, Visio, PowerPoint, Teams

Proficiency with electronic medical records systems (e.g. Epic, GE Centricity, NextGen etc.)

Ability to work in a high-volume production environment

Ability to perform audits within specified parameters of quality and timeliness

Required: LVN, LPN, or RN

Consideration for Certified Medical Coder (CPC) dependent on experience and competency assessment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• Min 5 years of experience in Information Technology
