Role & Responsibilities
• Extend technical support to Clients over email and phone.
• Carry out the advance level of troubleshooting on OS and applications
• Ensure that the tickets raised per shift are closed as per SLA and if not escalate as per the escalation Matrix defined
• Technically update the tickets in ticketing system for all the issues handled / worked upon
• Work on Change requests and take them towards closure as per defined timelines
• Following up with Vendors hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimes
• performance analysis of data using monitoring Tool
• Carry out OS, application and firmware upgrades as and when required

• Carry out patch update activity for infrastructure as well as customer servers

Patching
Extensive knowledge on any of the patch management/deployment tools like SCCM, Jetpatch, Puppet, BigFix, System Frontier, etc.,
Good knowledge on MS WSUS deployment, configuration and patch management
• Implementation of the patches using Change Management procedures.
• Secure approvals and perform the patching on the servers as per the patching window provided by the client.
• Govern and monitor deployment of patches from the patch tool and notify respective stake holders upon completion.
• Special instructions to be followed by technical teams like reboot sequence or checking the application services in case it is provided by Application support teams.
• Goof knowledge to troubleshoot/remediate failed patches from the tool
• Track the patch compliance and provide weekly and monthly reports to stake holders
• Maintain consistent patch compliance levels of 99% and higher
• Take a role of SPOC for all patching and vulnerability management in Windows
Technical Skills (Core & Top-Up)
Must to have:
• Windows Administration preferably on Windows 2008, windows 2012, Windows 2016, Windows 2019 and Windows 2022.
• Advance troubleshooting of Windows Servers, Active Directory.
• In depth working knowledge on VMware virtualization
• Advance windows OS installation, configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience in handling Nutanix HCI.
• Exposure into Nutanix Cluster Management
• Troubleshooting and upgrade patching of components in Nutanix
• Patch management using SCCM, WSUS and other tools
• Cross platform awareness
• Worked on DNS, DHCP and active directory
• Awareness of storage and multi-pathing
• Hands on experience on Virtualization, Cluster and Storage concepts
• Troubleshooting experience on ESX servers and vCenters.
• Working experience on VMware Consolidated Backup, Update Manager, Enterprise Converter.
• VMware ESX Management, Patching and Troubleshooting.
• Advance Microsoft cluster configuration and troubleshooting
• Worked on hardware from different vendors
