ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 
 
As Wind River continues to evolve in a rapidly changing industry, we are looking for an experienced accountant to join our China accounting team.
 
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the close activities of new legal entities, managing and tracking R&D costs, and coordinating a special audit that will now be required quarterly for the new legal entity. This position is essential to ensure the local accounting team meets the additional reporting and compliance requirements associated with the new legal entity and business initiatives.
 
The ideal candidate will work closely with both local and global accounting teams, as well as external accounting firms, to support these efforts. We seek a self-driven professional with a strong ability to learn new concepts and a passion for process improvement.
 
ABOUT YOU 
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Manage daily financial transactions, maintain general ledgers, and reconcile accounts.
  • Treasury: Process e-banking, prepare weekly cash forecasts, and liaise with banks for account management.
  • Accounts Payable: Efficiently handle invoice verification, coding, and payment processing in line with company policies.
  • Audit: Liaison with external and internal auditors.
  • Closings: Oversee close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Reports: Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements for group reporting.
  • R&D Cost: Support accurately track and allocate R&D expenses in accordance with tax regulations and local GAAP; Support special audit.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting, tax invoice standards, and conduct annual inspections.
  • Support domestic and global programs if needed.
  • Other ad. Hoc works.
 
Minimum qualifications:
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting major or above.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in full function at multinational companies.
  • An accountancy qualification is required.
  • Familiar with the financial system, Oracle is preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Solid knowledge of tax regulations, audit practices, R&D cost allocation and compliance reporting requirements.
 
Key Attributes:
 
  • Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) ; experienced with ERP is preferred.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills: Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to various audiences.
  • Capability of reading and writing in English.
  • Team player: Demonstrates willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, and support team members to achieve common goals.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing workload, and meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to embrace challenges and adapt quickly to changes in a dynamic work environment.
