About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a tester with the UAT team who has experience in User Acceptance testing, End user testing having knowledge on Agile, Scrum, SQL and Selenium.

In this role, you will:

Test Management:

  • Participate in researching and analyzing basic to moderately complex business requirements.
  • Prepare, test scenarios & Test Scripts to facilitate testing.
  • Ensure Test suite readiness for Regression testing and Defect Management to document & verify resolution of software and specification defects.
  • Able to work with key stakeholders to understand the problem statement and assist in implementing the required solution.
  • Agile:
Understand the Agile culture, adopt the agile mindset and practice the agile methodology.

Work in Agile Team and participate in all the Scrum events

Test Execution & Reporting:
  • Executing tests in UAT environment to support User Acceptance Testing & End User Testing.
  • Supporting Production Implementations by performing the validations needed to ensure correctness of implemented changes.
  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements are met including Company polices/guidelines.
  • Engage & collaborate with end users of the system under test and perform the Acceptance (End User Testing) Testing as key deliverables for the team.
Test Automation:
  • Contribute to developing, maintaining and executing the automation scripts in Selenium (with Java) for the implemented changes.
  • Contribute to building out the Smoke/Regression Automated Test suites.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of proven experience with Functional testing, System Testing and & Acceptance Testing (Alpha and beta Testing)
  • Good exposure & working understanding of Simple SQL queries.
  • 6+ months of Agile experience
  • 6+ months of Automation testing of web/windows-based applications and backend systems.
  • ISTQB Agile certified (preferrable)
  • Experience on Test Management tool- ALM and other tools- JIRA, SQL Server etc.
  • Hands on experience with test automation using Selenium.
  • Have good knowledge and working understanding of Core Java & SQL.
  • Good to have knowledge on Reporting tools like- Power BI, Tableau.
  • Experience in Reporting & Analytics & Report testing would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of Change Management Domain would be a plus.
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work in second shift (1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST)
