About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant.
Role and Responsibilities
• Design & develop various internal tools and reports as per stakeholder requirements within the MCRM(Market and Counterparty Risk Management) universe
• Hands on experience on the following:
A) SQL queries to create data set required for dashboard,experience in writing complex SQL query using multiple joins, sub-query and analytical functions is must .
B) Python including libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib and Advanced Python including tkinter, Exception handling, Multiprocessing.
C) Excel - Formulas(basic is must, intermediate/advanced good to have).

• Understanding data warehouse concepts - data source, staging, reporting layers
• Manage existing code base efficiently and track changes
• Identify opportunities and deliver process improvements, standardization and automation across NEXUS data lake platform
Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Market and Counterparty risk within banking domain
- Knowledge and understanding of market and counterparty risk management
- Must have strong SQL and Python skill set
Job Expectations:
- 8+ years of experience in SQL and Python development
- Knowledge of SQL
- Strong technical skills and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
- Knowledge and understanding of issues or change management processes
- Experience determining root cause analysis
- Flexibility with changing priorities
