About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
  • Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
  • Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
  • Drive solutions to reduce recovery
  • Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
  • Design complex system upgrades
  • Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
  • Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
  • Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years' experience with Contact Center Technologies including implementations and support of 3rd party vendor products within the Contact Center space.
  • Hands-on experience with CCaaS/CPaaS migrations and cloud infrastructure such as GCP
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
  • Experience in Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Automating existing manual processes with building and maintaining the infrastructure for Contact Center platforms
  • An industry-standard technology cloud certification
  • Experience with System Administration across multiple platforms.
  • Proactive monitoring of application performance through Splunk, dashboards, App dynamics & Dynatrace etc.
  • Identifying opportunities to adopt to new technologies while improving efficiency & optimization.
  • Represent Engineering teams during production outages and collaborate with Production Support teams to resolve production outages. Collaborate with stake holders across engineering functions to own/derive RCA & work towards permanent resolution.
  • Plan, support, execute and comply with Governance programs/processes in support of a strong control environment in your functional area. Leverage process documentation to improve operational controls and identify and remediate process deficiencies.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, mitigate, and escalate risk originating from non-compliance of processes, operational errors, and data integrity issues in all applicable processes.
  • Proficiency in dealing with Legacy infrastructure along with cloud infrastructure (on prem & 3rd party) such as GCP.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile project methodologies.
  • Experience in large scale migrations from premise to cloud solutions
  • Ability to create and present Architecture designs across large groups and Sr. Leadership
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform API's, storage tiers, GenAI and Transcription implementations
