Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Senior Information Security engineer for this exciting role. This position will require building new enterprise solutions and mentoring new IT Security engineers.
We are looking for a security engineer with technical know-how who is able to take a solution out of the box and become a SME. You'll be a part of our Gen AI go forward initiatives, helping us build a highly secure infrastructure as it relates to data protection and document identification and labeling.
We need someone with a technical security foundation with strong project management skills. You'll be someone who can digest large amounts of technical knowledge and share concepts simply around tools and processes. We need someone with excellent communication skills that is a true team player that demonstrates this by knowledge sharing and planning with cross functional teams and leaders.

In addition, for this initiative, you'll provide security consulting on medium projects for internal clients to ensure conformity with corporate information, security policy, and standards. You'll have a skill set of utilizing best practices to implement one or more components of information security such as availability, integrity, confidentiality, risk management, threat identification, modeling, monitoring, incident response, access management, and business continuity into the tool.
Each day you'll design, document, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions.
What makes you ultimately ideal for this role is you have technical background in data protection, data classification and SaaS.
In this role and on this project you will:
Lead or participate in computer security incident response activities for moderately complex events
Conduct technical investigation of security related incidents and post incident digital forensics to identify causes and recommend future mitigation strategies
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
IT Security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, etc)
Prior technical experience in data protection
Prior experience as a technical SME
Strong demonstrated knowledge of MS Products including advanced excel and PowerPoint
Experience with Project Management tools such as MS Project, Gant Charts, etc
Experience in building and implementing COTS enterprise solutions
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
