This is a hybrid position based in either Bristol or Edinburgh. The Global Information Security team is responsible to drive the development, deployment and management of information and Cyber Security across the Computershare businesses, globally.
Through partnerships with the business units, Technology Services and other support functions, the Global Information Security team actively support the business objectives whilst reducing the overall composite risk to Computershare.

The Global Information Security Senior Analyst will play a key role in the team, accountable for the delivery of the Information Security programme, which as part of the wider GIS strategy aims to develop our processes and technologies. These are maintained in line with the wider technology strategy, whilst continuing to meet the requirements of the wider business, our customers, and our regulators.
A role you will love
You'll be working to support a wide range of functions from Third-Party Cyber Risk Management, Risk & Compliance, Policies and Standards and Security Behaviour and Culture, specialising in a core discipline whilst supporting wider security initiatives as per the business needs.
This is exciting role in a global function and will involve working closely with the security operations teams, procurement, risk management and wider technology stakeholders across EMEA, Oceania and North America.
The Senior Global Information Security Analyst may be responsible for undertaking and supporting Audits (internal & external), Control assurance assessments, Risk management activities, Compliance & Regulations activities, Third-party due diligence requests and global initiatives.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Peer review of work and taking the lead on engagements.
- Mentoring & coaching.
- Triaging issues and proposing solutions.
- Identifying and delivering service/control improvements.
- Driving improvement - determine lessons learned that are fed into future engagements.
What will you bring to the role?
The post holder requires the ability to identify potential problems and propose possible solutions, using multiple problem-solving strategies. The individual will work with autonomy, yet have the experience of knowing when escalation and support are needed.
Given the varied nature of this position you will need to think creatively when approaching new and unusual problems, having a proactive mindset when it comes to tracking innovation and change.
The individual will influence and support in the development of others as well as support in the delivery of engagements, displaying excellent interpersonal skills when it comes to coaching team members.
It would also be advantageous to possess or be working towards one or more of the following professional information security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC or similar. Together with a thorough understanding of NIST and ISO27000.
Other skills & experience:
- Previous knowledge of information security and risk techniques, standards and concepts.
- The ability to effectively articulate Information Security and Risk Management concepts to varying audiences.
- A team player with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Organisation skills in planning and coordinating engagements.
