Department Overview:

The Shared services team responsible for maintaining the securities reference data for Security Master, Client on boarding, configuration and DocForce. The team provides the support to the projects to enable the delivery model for Wells Fargo that would help us service our customers faster. The support includes project management, UAT co-ordination and BA activities.

About the Role:

This position will focus on delivering the change portfolio for Product & Strategic Delivery, Shared Services in WFI&P. There will be 2 portfolios in focus-primarily the role will focus on the WFI&P Shared Services (Client Onboarding team) and identify & execute the change portfolio to reduce risk and improve service; secondarily, the role will support onshore Product & Strategic Delivery Team in delivery of their change projects. In addition, the role will provide support to Shared Services Manager in WFI&P Product & Strategic Delivery team.

Responsibilities:
  • Ability to partner & collaborate with stakeholders located both locally & globally in achieving shared business objectives & goals
  • Understand data flows from ingestion to output for covered applications
  • Maintain routines to track progress against published project deliverable timelines
  • Leverage relationships with Operations, Technology and QA to schedule change delivery
  • Support Onshore P&SD to facilitate routine initiative update calls
  • Generate and produce meaningful reports including communicating the same in a timely manner to recipients
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with the client and software development team to analyze information needs and functional requirements to deliver the Business Scoping Document
  • Understand the business requirements from Product Management and Client. Proven track record in gathering, definition and specification of requirements and excellent documentation skills producing user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Detailed design walk-through with Product Management and Client and getting Product Management / Client sign-off
  • Provide periodic project updates to internal/external stakeholders while being time sensitive to delivery
  • Encourage best practices and apply them in the team - responsible for functional product quality.
  • Understand Agile practices (daily scrum, iteration planning, retrospective, test driven, model storming) and follow the same.
  • Set priority on work product as per the agreed iteration goals.
  • Work effectively with other team members by sharing best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • 10-12 years' financial services experience in capital markets space
  • Graduate degree or higher / MBA (Preferred)
  • The ability to communicate effectively with superiors and colleagues is essential
  • Hands on experience on various Client Onboarding systems
  • Should be GOOD at Requirements Gathering, BRD, User Story, UAT etc.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to non-IT and functional information to IT
  • Ability to make quick and informed decisions.
  • Extensive experience of participating in the full lifecycle of Agile software development environment
  • Note: Ability to work in US shifts and provide coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM EST (5:30PM to 2:30AM IST)

  • Experience at a Strategy Consulting firm
  • Project Management Experience
  • Knowledge in Agile/SDLC Methodologies
  • Experience working in international environment
  • Experience in UAT coordination across Technology and Business.
