About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to provide leadership and advice for policy management activities in collaboration with enterprise and business senior leaders accountable for Wells Fargo policies and procedures. The role will work broadly across the organization with risk and business managers to develop and improve enterprise and business policies, procedures, and reference documentation

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals, objectives and future state enhancements
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide and moderate risk deliverables

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • 4+ years of Management Consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to grasp complex risk issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to simultaneously lead multiple projects
  • Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Solid critical thinking skills
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Demonstrated change management skills leading broad initiatives that included design and implementation of new or significantly revised policies and procedures or overseeing implementation and execution of policies on a large scale initiative;
  • Knowledge of Wells Fargo's risk culture and structure with ability to navigate the complexity of the organization.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
  • Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
  • Shift Timings: 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM
Job Expectations:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Evaluating draft policies and procedures to ensure they meet content requirements, effectively communicate the responsibilities and requirements for managing risk; challenge and escalate as needed
  • Ability to review draft policies for grammatical accuracy, readability and communication level
  • Provide thought leadership and promotion of appropriate policy direction by analyzing assigned issues, matters, and processes and recommending solutions
  • Developing or leading policy or process design and improvement initiatives
  • Negotiating, influencing, and collaborating within team environment and across all levels of the organization to ensure policy management practices are effective and policies and procedures are accurate and actionable
  • Advising and educating policy teams on effective and efficient policy management practices, common processes, tools and resources
  • Evaluating adherence to company-wide policy management program and resolving or escalating issues as appropriate
  • Monitoring policy management practices and recommending appropriate changes to improve, resulting in better governance documentation, communication, and implementation across the company.
