- About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant in the Enterprise Policy Office to develop and execute initiatives for monitoring, reporting, and training. The role will work broadly across the organization with risk and business managers to develop and improve the monitoring and reporting related to enterprise and business policies, procedures, and reference documentation.
In this role, you will: - Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
- Create visualized data reports / presentations to communicate clear and concise conclusions
- Write / code SQL (Oracle, SQL , Teradata) and use advanced MS Excel capabilities to identify customer populations and key data elements in support of data enrichment and document remediation efforts in a highly complex environment
- Perform analytics required to support various projects or information requests
- Identify requirement for and work with teams to build reports to support ongoing information needs relative to EPO processes and controls
- Write / code Python, SQL (Oracle, SQL , Teradata) and use advanced excel capabilities to define and execute queries or logic to retrieve data from various sources within and possibly outside of Wells Fargo
- Analyze data and create summaries in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio or PowerPoint for management review and communication
- Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
- Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
- Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
- Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
- Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
- Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Graduation in any stream.
- 2+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or modeling.
- Write / code in Python, SQL (Oracle, SQL , Teradata) and use advanced excel
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems
- Ability to grasp complex risk issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Solid critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated change management skills leading broad initiatives that included monitoring and/or reporting related to the design and implementation of new or significantly revised policies and procedures or overseeing implementation and execution of similar monitoring and reporting on a large scale initiative
- Knowledge of Wells Fargo's risk culture and structure with ability to navigate the complexity of the organization.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
- Ability to consult, build, and maintain solid working relationships in and outside of immediate department
- Shift Timings: 3:30 PM to 12:30 AM
- Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to utilize and develop data analysis and reporting to evaluate compliance with policy management practices
- Ability to analyze policies and procedures to ensure they meet content requirements, effectively communicate the responsibilities and requirements for managing risk; challenge and escalate as needed
- Experience negotiating, influencing, and collaborating within team environment and across all levels of the organization
