About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant.

In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Alteryx Designer and Alteryx Server.
  • Strong knowledge of data blending, data transformation, and data cleansing techniques using Alteryx.
  • Proficiency in Alteryx workflow development, including building complex workflows, creating custom tools, and using macros.
  • Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation within Alteryx.
  • Experience integrating Alteryx workflows with other data tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
  • Solid understanding of data analytics and business intelligence concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data-related issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Alteryx certification (e.g., Alteryx Designer Core Certified, Alteryx Advanced Certified).
  • Experience with data modeling and database design.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or R for advanced analytics within Alteryx.
Job Expectations:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand data analysis needs.
  • Design and develop Alteryx workflows to automate data blending, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  • Implement data validation and quality checks within Alteryx workflows to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Optimize and enhance existing Alteryx workflows for improved performance and efficiency.
  • Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to integrate Alteryx workflows into broader data infrastructure and analytics frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Alteryx workflows, ensuring timely resolution of any technical problems.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to validate the functionality and accuracy of Alteryx workflows.
  • Document technical specifications, workflow designs, and data mappings for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Alteryx features and functionalities, exploring new capabilities to enhance data analytics processes.
  • Provide training and support to business users in understanding and utilizing Alteryx workflows effectively.
