About this role:

Wells Fargo Auto is seeking a Retail Auto Relationship Management Manager who will be responsible for leading a high performing team of Retail Auto Relationship Managers. This role will develop and execute strategy, proposals, and initiatives to generate additional revenues through optimizing business opportunities. Assesses the needs of the auto dealer to ensure satisfaction. Understands the profitability and risk of ongoing relationship. Develops and implements procedures to improve relationships if needed while also maintaining profitable relationships. Manage and grow the business and relationships throughout the Louisville, Kentucky, Columbus Ohio, Detroit, Michigan Metroplex and surrounding areas.

This role will develop and execute strategy, proposals, and initiatives to generate additional revenues through optimizing business opportunities. Assesses the needs of the auto dealer to ensure satisfaction. Understands the profitability and risk of ongoing relationship. Develops and implements procedures to improve relationships if needed while also maintaining profitable relationships. In addition, responsible for securing any money owed to WF Auto (i.e. booksheet discrepancies, rebatables, etc.). Ensures timeliness in clearing any customer generated complaints through the LOB or Enterprise complaints office. Ensures processes within the market territory support corporate objectives.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Uphold, support, foster and engage in Wells Fargo Vision and Values
  • Be able to assess a dealer's needs and provide solutions to help them succeed financially
  • Train and educate dealers around Wells Fargo products and services
  • Maintain accurate dealer contact information
  • Responsible for partnering with other LOB within Wells Fargo
  • Proper Salesforce Documentation for all dealer interactions (including pre-call planning and post call notes for in-person dealer visits)
  • Ability to analyze data to uncover additional opportunities for growth
In this role, you will:
  • Lead a high performing team of managers responsible for managing relationships of medium to large and complex high producing auto dealer accounts (both franchise and independent) within the assigned region
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within assigned territory
  • Ensure growth and development of new and existing dealer relationships for both franchise and independent auto dealerships
  • Manage auto applications, loan volume and overall stability of credit portfolio of assigned territory
  • Make decisions and resolve issues regarding the team in order to meet business objectives
  • Execute Auto retail sales goals and objectives
  • Hire, train, manage, motivate and develop a team
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all levels of internal and external customers, and interface with all level of management, both internal and external partners
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Retail Auto Relationship Management
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Retail Auto Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience leading, training, developing, and providing feedback to staff and corresponding managers
  • Ability to participate in the development and implementation of sales and service goals to ensure that organizational and customer goals are met
  • Dealer services or auto finance risk experience
  • Proficient experience with Salesforce
  • Strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Auto finance experience
  • Previous experience with auto operations, sales, and/or credit
  • Client account relationship development and management experience
  • Knowledge and Experience of auto applications and software
  • Experience working in a virtual dialog environment
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time with the potential of a couple overnight stays each month.
  • Ability to travel minimum of 3 days per week within assigned territory.
  • Ability to provide and work from a home office.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to be available to answer questions for dealer partners in the evenings and weekends if needed. Work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled.
  • Flexibility to address incidents as needed 24 hours a day.

  • Candidate will need to reside in market area of support and is required to be in the field.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
