About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Owner to serve on our Network Security team as part of the Chief Technology Office. This person will perform a crucial role in supporting the transformation of our teams to a high performing agile team and in delivering enterprise-wide value. In this role, you will own the product vision, roadmap, and investment strategy enabling the timely delivery of our products to our customers. You will also prioritize the backlog and incoming expedited requests by collaborating with your delivery team(s) and the customer.

The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following technical areas: web application firewalls, API security, network fundamentals, load balancers, DNS and network firewalls. This person will need to leverage excellent verbal, written, relationship and influencing skills across all levels of the organization to build consensus and enthusiasm to prioritize our product delivery against the overall product strategy.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the development and execution of complex digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have impact across the enterprise with broad impact
  • Make decisions in digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area requiring strong understanding of the business, policies, procedures and/or compliance requirements
  • Develop, evolve, and communicate the product area vision, priorities and strategy while managing risk and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Establish, communicate, and monitor product area goals and performance indicators.
  • Identify and build relationships with key partners and stakeholders to communicate product area vision, strategies, and priorities while soliciting and incorporating feedback.
  • Facilitate frequent collaboration between customers, stakeholders, and teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Engage in industry, technology, and customer ecosystem research and discovery to incorporate and prioritize key findings into the product area backlog.
  • Actively own the prioritization of a clearly understood product area backlog aligned to product area vision and goals.
  • Identify and resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas.
  • Inspire and guide high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Be consistently and actively present and in cadenced communication with product leadership and product area team members.
  • Work closely with the product managers, technical leaders, and business leaders to create meaningful customer value with our current and emerging connectivity and cryptographic services.
  • Work closely with our lead Agilists to transform our team a model state product and portfolio management.
  • Need strong risk and dependency management skills to coordinate large complex initiatives across multiple Agile and non-agile teams.
  • Will need to be comfortable with technical complexity, ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best possible solution.
  • Act as key participant in large-scale planning
  • Review and analyze complex digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area
  • Influence digital strategy for the business line requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
  • Lead a broad team of digital professionals to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Potentially lead projects, teams or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of experience as a product owner supporting technology teams in a large, matrixed environment
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
  • 5 + years of experience with Jira, Confluence, or other workflow and collaboration tools
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience leading large scale, very complex product portfolios with broad scope and impact across large organizations
  • Knowledge and understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures applying Agile framework within an Infrastructure focused role
  • Experience in backlog development (e.g., prioritization and grooming, authoring stories)
  • Experience with web application firewalls, API security, network fundamentals, load balancers, DNS and network firewalls
  • Experience transitioning teams to agile product and portfolio management
  • Experience with application delivery services including web application firewalls
  • Experience with cloud technologies enabling shift from on-premise infrastructure
  • Experience with Network and Security Services automation at scale
Job Expectations:
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to travel 20%
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
