About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Senior Manager for Consumer Lending FP&A role.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop teams in support of financial advisory services for one or more Business Lines on matters related to financial research, business performance, operating and strategic reviews
  • Engage and influence financial analysis and economic research that may have critical impact on the long term business performance
  • Direct a team of managers or more experienced level consultants to ensure effective consultation, recommendations and reporting on all various financial viability assessments
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
  • Determine appropriate strategy for efficient and effective process in support of providing key finance services such as management reporting and key metrics forecasting
  • Maintain functional ownership of various aspects of financial consulting services including technical advisory, delivery infrastructure, communication and engagement strategy and other key strategic aspects
  • Advise more experienced leadership on issues with high, critical impact on the success of the enterprise
  • Develop policies and procedures for supported area of work within the function
  • Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals, including managers
  • Lead team to achieve objectives
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Finance
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

  • 6+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Build strong relationships with Business Leaders and exhibit Partnership with them
  • Support the strategy and vision of the Business CFOs and make value added contribution to the Business & Finance strategy
  • Provide leadership to the Team and defining strategic priorities
  • Provide guidance to the team in performing daily activities and work allocations;
  • Act as subject matter expert and help contextualize business requirements;
  • Lead the business transformation of processes using cutting edge technology and tools
  • Develop operating models that include building horizontal utilities where feasible
  • Lead in Quarterly forecast cycles for the Business and collaborate with multiple stakeholders -LoB Finance teams, Demand Planning team, Business stakeholders
  • Communicate and present financial performance to various stakeholders and functional heads
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across functional groups with competing priorities.
  • Analyzing group's financial performance; informing management of trends and variances and recommending appropriate action; identifying, calculating and recommending most equitable allocation of group's expenses etc.
  • Manage monthly close process by analyzing and reconciling expense activity; formulate monthly accruals/journal entries, utilizing various internal and vendor provided financial applications to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts
  • Interpret and evaluate monthly analyses of business trends, including forecast variance of financial results and Key Performance Indicators to identify areas of risk and opportunities and provide recommendations for management review and strategic business sessions.
  • Manage Capital Budgeting/Forecasting including Fixed Assets and Balance Sheet reviews
  • Manage General ledger Maintenance support processes (Open/Close of Account Unit, organization hierarchies etc.)
  • Manage SLA's and measure them against metrics for continuous improvements and efficiencies
Job Expectations:
  • 17+ years of experience in a multi-line Banking organization with majority in LoB FP&A function
  • 10+yrs of Management experience
  • Work closely with CFO teams to identify automation opportunities and drive efficiencies across team with an innovative mindset
  • Foster and develop high performing teams
