About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer - CTO Business Relationship Management Individual Contributor with deep knowledge and experience in Infrastructure Engineering to support Technology and Business.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
- Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the infrastructure
- Evaluate internal and external software solutions which could be leveraged to meet target state architecture goals
- Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
- Design, build, deploy and maintain infrastructure solutions through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
- Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
- Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks and resource requirements
- Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
- Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and achieve results
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with customer and vendor

- 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education .
- Bachelor's degree or higher in System information Management or equivalent
- Strategic thinking
- Domain expertise in Infrastructure engineering and architecture

- Own the strategic relationship between CTO and Business CIOs group (WIMT, CT, CCIBT, DTI, EFT, TCOO, CS) .
- Develop deep domain knowledge of CTO and CIO organizational functions and processes.
- Build cross-functional relationships for the convergence of value.
- Establish value management as a strategic technology partner.
- Educate partners on CTO products consumptions, new products, and strategic solutions that aligns to CIO business goals.
- Partner with individuals, teams, and process to drive value and meaningful results.
- Navigate CTO teams to influence and negotiate delivery to meet CIO requirements.
- Partner with leaders to identify opportunities to evaluate, prioritize, and shape initiatives for strategic value.
- Focus on value over solutions. Emphasize value when developing ideas, evaluating risk, and evolving needs.
- Innovate using knowledge and awareness of CTO products and CIO business strategic direction.
- Engage as a program major partner including evaluating development efforts and progress against strategic plans and value creation objectives.
- Strategize with CTO product owners to develop future roadmaps and explore new opportunities, converging organization-wide strategic direction into one.
- Align CTO initiatives to CIOs to deliver transparency on capacity management and release schedule.
- Lead or participate in high level technical discussions spanning technology and business.
- Understand complex infrastructure systems, design, and their dependencies.
- Drive solutions to reduce friction.
- Understand CTO products' offering to influence adoption and/or capability design.
- Resolve troublesome trends as they develop.
- Review and analyze high impact outages impacting your CIO and work with CTO functional teams to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future.
- Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness.
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers.
