This resource will support the Collateral Management functional and regulatory role of monitoring, remediating, and reporting trade level differences or issues. Pursuant to EMIR, CFTC, and SEC regulations the Port Rec Analyst will maintain compliance across product types per related regulation. Activities will include reporting, root cause analysis, trade matching, remediation, annual and quarterly Port Rec notification tracking, trade reconciliations, and escalations to collateral management and the relevant trading desk.

In this role, you will:
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis: The analyst will review the root cause for a trade valuation difference or unmatched trade. This analysis will be published daily and will be used by collateral management to create informed commentary where call disputes occur
  • Case management will include collateralized and uncollateralized disputes or differences originating from Trioptima (vendor case management tool) and Derivatives Access (custom Millie Case management tool)
  • Escalate large discrepancies and will report on all differences over 10% to relevant margin analysts and managers. Issues identified should be raised to the desk for confirmation of values or other noted issues and will be tracked until the issue is resolved (if possible)
  • MTM Validation monitoring: The analyst will review trade, source system, and portfolio level issues and escalate to management and technology or the relevant trading desk
  • Track the annual and quarterly notification process for: Tracking notification success/fail rate, Responding to inquiries from the process
  • Report on the daily activities such as: Regulatory Threshold Reporting, Dispute and Trade Valuation Analysis, Case Management activities, Port Rec Notification Tracking, and KYC Methodology Reporting
  • *Strong attention to detail is critical as it relates to Regulatory Requirements and Reporting
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of Capital Markets industry experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Analytical and detail oriented
  • Technical writing experience
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with related business units
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with controls and procedures
  • Ability to prioritize work within a fast paced working environment
