Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Intelligence Product Owner, HR Data Products (Lead Business Intelligence Consultant), to envision and deliver world-class people data products to drive the HR insights needed to achieve top company objectives. This position is an exciting opportunity to join the Wells Fargo Human Resources BI Product team as a Business Intelligence Product Owner, responsible for developing a portfolio of analytical dashboards & data products. This growing team will provide leadership with on-demand insight into key Human Resource metrics, enabling them to make efficient and high-quality decisions related to the people and teams at Wells Fargo. In this role, you will:
  • Lead cross-functional complex initiatives with broad impact and act as key participant in large-scale planning for the Business Intelligence functional area that enable clear and consistent delivery of insights
  • Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to resolve issues and achieve goals related to assessing business needs and producing actionable insights and trends, leveraging data visualization and business intelligence
  • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, longer-term business and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of data aggregation and visualization methodology to drive user-centric diagnostic analytics and dashboards
  • Make decisions in complex situations requiring solid understanding of data structures, domain-specific knowledge and the end user experience that impact the final data visualization product, which includes dashboards, reports, insights, or analyses
  • Influence and lead a broader work team to deliver data and visual outputs and new initiatives to inform strategy and decision making by the company
  • Lead projects, teams and serve as a peer mentor
  • Work to drive adoption of insights and metrics as a resource for the company to enable a data-driven decision-making approach
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of business intelligence and data visualization experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with non-technical partners to interpret requirements and translate into technical solutions accomplishing the intended outcomes
  • 2+ years of experience in reporting for Human Resources within Talent Acquisition
  • 3+ years of experience with HR systems, such as Workday, ServiceNow, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience with data analysis, insight generation and compelling storytelling
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and/or similar relational database management system (RDBMS) tools such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle Database
  • 3+ years of experience with Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python and/or R
  • 3+ years of experience with the aggregation, analysis, and consolidation of complex human capital or HR data to be utilized in effective data visualizations by diverse audiences
  • Experience with Degreed or other Learning Experience Platforms
  • Experience with Agile methodology, iterative delivery, product development model
