About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Accountability Specialist

CIB Control monitoring team supports Market Conduct & Supervision program and is responsible for monitoring of identified controls as part of ICP (Internal Control Policy) and monitoring of level 1 and 2 risk types related controls for Unauthorized trading activities such as Review of Off-hours/Off Premise/manual trading, Aged Inventory & trader mandate alerting, Required absence coverage, Credit/Market risk limit breaches, Trade fail metrics, Strategic Trade book review & attestation, Late trade/unapproved products/dormant trade alerts, Non-standard Account review, Middle office trade bookings monitoring. For this role, we are looking for a candidate with good understanding of Risk Management, CIB Business, good exposure in Unauthorized trading controls, effective supervision and control of Internal Risk policy and experience in automated ORM/Control Management workflows in ORMF will be preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Individual contributor role focusing on monitoring Unauthorized trading, Market Conduct Risk & Supervision program for CIB-COO business.
  • Validate & track action plans, escalate issues as required and document the control artifacts and findings.
  • Perform periodic reviews for medium to complex engagements, challenge status-quo and identify opportunities to add efficiencies or refining the existing controls.
  • Should have project management, control management, advanced reporting and tracking/analytical skills.
  • Maintain and execute the ICP program, identify control deficiencies, document and escalate potential issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Timely completion of all activities and documentation.
  • Engage and work with multiple stakeholders - Front Line Risk Type Groups, Compliance, Internal Testing and CIB Business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
  • Overall experience of 6+ years with 4 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking industry and/or Risk & Control domains covering Compliance Reporting, Risk Management etc.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude and readiness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher. Relevant certifications will be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) concepts and policies across risk types and quantify risk (financial impact to organization, risk exposure levels).
  • Experience in advanced excel is a must and reporting tools (Tableau or BI/automation) will be an advantage.
  • General knowledge of industry standards and best practices around Risk & control evaluations, Compliance and risk management processes.
