Banking, Lending & Trust COE
As part of its vision for a flatter, more nimble organization that is easier to do business with, Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) has created horizontal functions known as centers of excellence to support all client coverage channels. Banking, Lending, & Trust is a center of excellence that brings teams and functions currently found across WIM's consumer businesses under a common, WIM-level organization. The group is focused on transforming from channel-based to client-focused solutions and delivery in an
effort to reduce operational risk, improve efficiency, increase consistency/coordination, and bring focus on product management / development to deliver innovative growth and improve the client experience.
Additionally, the new group will deliver a WIM-level culture of product management excellence by creating a culture of innovation, product excellence, client service and risk mitigation.
Banking & Credit Solutions is one of the COE teams providing banking and credit solutions to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals and family offices and executes and services custom lending needs. These solutions, products and services can include:
• Banking and advisory services.
• Stock loans for illiquid/concentrated stock.
• Securities-based lending products.
• Life insurance premium financing.
• Treasury management strategies and related deposit services.
• Commercial real estate financing.

In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop a team of multiple levels of managers and individual contributors with focus on delivering service of moderate to high complexity for cross functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the risk mitigation function or affected by its outcomes
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development by overseeing strategy and execution of all activities
- Lead team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues related to higher risk deliverables; interpret and develop range of policies and procedures for functions with moderate to high complexity and risk
- Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including senior leadership
- Engage and influence business heads, regulators, control management, risk, legal, and audit partners to successfully ensure appropriate management of business risk
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in business group
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of risk management, business controls, or compliance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Strong risk management leadership skills
- Knowledge and understanding of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients: market segment
- Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
- Knowledge and understanding of the key factors impacting credit offerings, including credit risks and regulatory requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)and Shared Risk Platform (SHRP)
- Knowledge and understanding of Regulatory Risk and Compliance policies and programs
- Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities and/or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$173,300.00 - $359,900.00
