We are seeking a highly skilled Analytics Manager to support Home Lending customer remediations team. The manager will play a critical role in leading a team of Analytic Consultants whose primary responsibility includes utilizing database knowledge and business process to perform advanced data analysis to identify populations of customers that may require remediation. The teams develop standards for remediating customer issues across the Wells Fargo enterprise in partnership with line of business experts and others within the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence.

In this role, you will:
  • Play a key leadership role within the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence Data Analytics team, responsible for partnering with Remediation Leads to identify populations of impacted customers.
  • Oversee analytics team members responsible for developing analysis designs, business language waterfalls, population datasets, complex queries and remediation documentation.
  • Oversee multiple remediations simultaneously and meeting with business partners.
  • Develop remediation expertise and best practices to be used throughout the organization for structuring accurate population identification, data profiling and review of outliers.
  • Partner with Remediation and data validation teams to ensure that populations of impacted customers have been fully and accurately identified.
  • Create business language waterfalls and documenting queries to match those waterfalls.
  • Challenge assumptions re: translation of business language to technical requirements, location of data, archives, etc.

  • Review/analyze trends, identify new methodology/data sources and recommending strategy changes or process enhancements.
  • Ensure a high level of data accuracy for work completed by your data analysts.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise regarding the Home Lending Line of Business
  • Determine the required capabilities, tools and data, and leveraging multiple information sources.
  • Maintain necessary processes, controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies.
  • Work collaboratively across the other analytical remediation teams to load balance the volumes and needs of the business and demanding remediations.
  • Provide leadership to proactively transform data into actionable insights and provide strategic insight that will assist in identifying customers impacted through systemic issues.

Specifically, you will:
  • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your employees feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
  • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented employees, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing employees, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks.
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 2+ years of leadership experience

  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaborate with analytic functions throughout the organization.
  • Expertise in data profiling and research.
  • In-depth knowledge of business systems (MSP, Shaw, EIW, SSDM, HEIDS) and data structures
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis for data-driven process-related improvements.
  • Experience presenting information to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience in historical data analysis, customer remediation, or regulatory reporting.
  • Experience in identifying and remediating customers impacted by complex situations.
  • Relationship management experience with business and technology partners.
  • 4+ years of coding experience with SAS and/or SQL.
  • Experience working with complex data environments.
  • Ability to identify data root cause issues with the ability to create immediate solutions.
  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Experience with providing detailed, thorough, and accurate documentation procedures and repeatability standards.
  • Ability enforcing accountability for high quality work among a large number of analysts.
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of consumer lending data and analytics.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Job Expectations:
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to work on site per Wells Fargo's standard operating model in one of the listed locations (hybrid work schedule - 3 days on-site, 2 days remote).
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
