About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Consultant for GTM Analytics team in Commercial banking.
In this role, you will:
- Use Wholesale banking business/functional knowledge to assist in non-model quantitative tools that support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with Wholesale banking business heads to gather requirements, propose analytical methods and deliver insights in form of dashboards/ reports
- Perform analysis of findings and trends using statistical analysis and document process
- Understand how to minimize various risks associated with wholesale products and various regulations on the same in US markets
- Handle high volume of data and bring structure to it using big data tools and techniques
- Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area
- Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies
- Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals
- Collaborate and consult with more experienced consultants and with partners in technology and other business groups

- 2+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Statistical techniques
- Coding skills using SQL, Oracle, Python
- Data visualization- Tableau and Excel
- Handling high volume of data and bringing structure
- Generating insights using statistical techniques
- Insight delivery using data visualization tools- Tableau/ Power BI
- Understand the wholesale banking product dynamics and show thought leadership
