Business Analytics Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analytics Consultant to join our team and help us leverage data to drive business improvements and innovation. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in data analytics, business intelligence, and strategic consulting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into actionable data strategies
• Identify data-driven initiative opportunities that deliver measurable business value
• Develop product data roadmaps aligned with business objectives
• Conduct discovery sessions to establish key KPIs, success metrics, and data solutions
• Deliver insights into product usage and customer behaviors to support sales and customer engagement efforts
• Use data storytelling techniques to present findings and influence executive-level stakeholders
• Lead cross-functional teams in defining, scoping, and delivering important data projects
• Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to spot growth opportunities
• Promote the adoption of data analytics products across various business lines and regions
• Provide consultancy on business process improvement initiatives based on data insights
• Drive the adoption of predictive analytics tools for business forecasting
• Act as a primary contact for enterprise data analytics and data governance initiatives
• Educate teams on effective data-driven decision-making strategies
• Manage team resources and project timelines

• Strong experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
• Advanced data storytelling and presentation skills
• Extensive expertise in one or more industry sectors as a subject matter expert in strategic business consulting
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Competency in interpersonal and communication skills for engaging stakeholders
• Background in a product-thinking mindset and a process-driven problem-solving approach

• Experience with customer journey analytics and CRM tools to optimize user experiences
• Financial expertise, including standard metrics calculation and predictive models for forecasting future cash flows
• Knowledge of the Oil & Gas sector, encompassing field development to sales performance, profitability, and production efficiency analysis
• People management skills
