ROLE OVERVIEW

This is the lead position of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo - The Making of Harry Potter's Trade business. The Business Development manager (BDM) will lead a small team and be responsible for developing the Studio Tour's Trade business to support the continuous growth, by overseeing both new account acquisition and account management of existing Trade partners, developing the Trade strategy and plan, representing Studio Tour at travel and networking events and sales trips including overseas. The role is based at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the strategic planning of Studio Tour Tokyo's trade business
  • Manage trade partner relationships
  • Drive business acquisition of partner ticket sale
  • Manage the ticket sale forecast and performance for business maximisation
  • Organise the participation of trade events and sales mission (local and overseas) and represent Studio Tour Tokyo in industrial events if needed
  • Management of sales review and reporting
  • Work with internal tech team to facilitate ticket sale system setting and operational matters
  • Manage relationships with travel industrial networking for exposure
  • Manage trade team performance
  • Review partners' submission of content approval for partners' platform sale and exposure

JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS

Work Experience & Qualifications

  • Work experience of Sales or Business Development experiences in any of Travel, Hospitality, Hotel, Travel Agents, OTA, DMC and Attraction businesses
  • Understand the Japan's travel industry landscape of both domestic and inbound
  • Have extensive network in Travel and Attraction industries will be an advantage

Skills & characters

  • Proficiency in both English and Japanese languages is essential
  • Excellent business sense with a result-driven mindset and commercially astute
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Capability to handle uncertainty and take initiative to work on projects with least guidance
  • Good IT literacy including travel industrial system knowledge will be a big plus
