Your New Role...
This pivotal role is designed to elevate our content operations, ensuring they remain aligned with evolving business demands and technological advancements. The Sr. Manager will lead detailed project planning and execution, ensuring strategic initiatives are delivered on time and meet defined objectives.
A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining a high-performing team capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. The Sr. Manager will focus on fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Operational oversight will be central to this position, emphasizing the optimization of distribution processes to drive efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness. This role is essential for sustaining our growth, managing increasing volumes, and supporting the delivery of high-quality assets to our partners and clients.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Strategic Content Planning and Management
- Develop and implement strategic plans to support the launch and ongoing management of Domestic & International Licensees, FAST channels, VOD partner operations, and ingest partner deals.
- Oversee detailed project planning and execution to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality content delivery, including global licensing deals, ingest partner initiatives, and special projects.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performance team to ensure engagement and accountability.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that aligns with business objectives and drives continuous improvement.
Operational Oversight and Optimization
- Monitor, streamline, and optimize content distribution processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and quality standards to sustain operational excellence.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with senior Sales personnel, Product Delivery Management, Content Creatives, and other cross-functional teams to align operational activities with strategic goals.
- Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration across departments to address challenges and drive effective solutions.
Monthly Reporting and Data Analysis
- Develop and deliver accurate, timely monthly reports on content operations, highlighting trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and improve operational performance.
Partnership Management
- Oversee and strengthen relationships with global FAST, VOD and ingest partners, ensuring smooth integration and operational efficiency.
- Manage the onboarding process for new partners, addressing requirements, timelines, and expectations proactively.
Qualifications & Experiences...
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in content operations, media distribution, or a related field within the entertainment or media industry.
- Proven expertise in managing high-volume content distribution in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of content management systems (CMS), digital asset management (DAM) systems, and media distribution technologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with hands-on experience using platforms such as Smartsheets, Jira, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with metadata standards and best practices for efficient and accurate content distribution.
- Demonstrated success in building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams, including senior sales personnel, PMO, and content creatives.
- Exceptional strategic planning and project management skills, with a proven ability to develop and execute detailed plans that align with business objectives.
- Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and leverage insights to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements.
- Experience preparing and presenting precise, insightful monthly reports for stakeholders, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Adaptability and a solution-oriented mindset to address challenges in a dynamic and evolving environment.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $81,900.00 - $152,100.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
