Your New Role:

Reporting directly to the SVP, Cybersecurity Program Execution, Risk Oversight & Resilience, the Senior Director of Cybersecurity Program Execution will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex, high-impact cybersecurity initiatives and programs across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams towards achieving security objectives. This role will drive the creation and maintenance of enterprise cybersecurity policies and metrics associated with key risk and performance indicators (KRI/KPI's) that informs and facilitates risk-based decisions, and ensuring overall adherence to information security policy and standards.

Your Role Accountabilities:

Program Execution (50%)

The Cybersecurity Program Execution Leader will oversee the delivery of cybersecurity programs and initiatives, combining strategic leadership with a hands-on "get stuff done" approach. This role involves managing a cybersecurity technical scrum program and team of project coordinators. The leader will develop and implement program management frameworks, collaborate with senior leadership, oversee multiple programs, projects, and initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Strong relationships with stakeholders, mentorship of team members, and regular status reporting are key aspects.

Policy, Standards and Baselines (25%)

Overseeing the creation, execution, maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, baselines, and supporting processes and procedures. The person in this role will develop manage the policy framework and handle Information Security documents throughout their entire lifecycle.

Cybersecurity Metrics & Reporting (25%)

Wrangling WBD cybersecurity data into meaningful metrics and maturing risk-based metrics such as Key Risk Indicators (KRIs). Efforts include expanding and automating the KRI dashboard for better insights, improving data quality, collecting enhanced security data, and developing interactive visualizations. Lean in on leveraging machine learning and AI on large datasets, quantify risk in monetary terms, and build expertise in WBD security data and tools. The role also entails creating data visualizations with Tableau or Power BI to effectively communicate security metrics to leadership and non-security audiences.

Qualifications & Experiences:

The best candidate for this role will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, such as Business, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience


  • 10-15+ years of management experience working in a cybersecurity program management, IT governance, policy or information security environment.


  • Proven track record of global program management experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies.


  • Able to interact, communicate and partner with C-level executives. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and proven ability to work effectively at all organizational levels


  • Financial management and ROI analytical skills


  • Ability to provide vision, strategy, and leadership


  • Proven experience to successfully, drive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment comprised of high-achievers, to meet management and customer expectations.


  • Functional knowledge of CISSP security domains, governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI) and information security industry standard and best practices


  • Strong performance management skills, leading, motivating, engaging, and mentoring junior team members


  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics in clear, non-technical language; outstanding analytical, writing, and oral presentation skills.


  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, take ownership of and solve problems, and to deliver work products which are consistent with sound and ethical business practices, and common sense.


  • Outstanding strategic planning and management skills, ability to think creatively, and strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.


  • Active learner-able to enhance personal, professional, and business growth through new knowledge and experiences.


  • Experience working in an international business environment, supervising a geographically disperse team.
