Social Programming Pathways Intern: ATL - Spring 2025

Your New Role
This internship will be located in the Atlanta area. The selected intern will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager's in office schedule.
The Spring Social Programming Intern will be joining the most followed sports betting brand on social media! Come join our team to learn the ins and outs of Sports Betting culture on social platforms like X (formally known as Twitter), Instagram and TikTok. During this opportunity, the intern will help curate, produce and maybe even star in B/R Betting content that is consumed by over 2 million followers across our social media channels.
Your Role Accountabilities
The Spring Social Programming Intern will be tasked with...
- Curating social media platforms for sports betting content and trends to post on our feeds as well as the B/R App
- Editing videos produced by the B/R Betting team
- Assisting with programming of original social videos and curated content
- Communicate with our followers in DMs, Comments, and Replies to continue to build the B/R Betting Community
- Analyze and track social performance data for our TikTok, Instagram and X (formally known as Twitter)
Qualifications & Experience
- MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD AT START OF INTERNSHIP
- Fluent in Social Media platorms (TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube)
- A basic understanding of sports betting
- Video editing skills are nice to have but not a deal breaker
- Familiar with the B/R Betting brand and the brand's unique voice
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior Student
- Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above cumulative GPA)
- Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.

What to know before applying:
- The duration of the program is 10 weeks
- Program dates:
- Start Date: January 27th, 2025
- End Date: April, 18th, 2025
- Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
- Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
- Interviewing will take place from September through early December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
