Company Overview...
Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. This 200 acre secure site has a quarter of a million square feet of stage space, back-lot tank, one of the largest heated underwater filming tanks in Europe and an 100 acre back-lot.
WBSL has a collection of thirteen sound stages, some of which are the largest in the UK. The site also has its own, on-site Production Rentals division, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding and production supplies for stage and location shoots. WB De Lane Lea based in Soho, London, provides state of the art facilities in audio post production for feature films and television.
These facilities make Warner Bros. Entertainment the only Hollywood studio to own and operate a production and post production facility in the U.K.
Warner Bros. Studio Tour London - The Making of Harry Potter showcases the authentic sets, special effects and behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. Located at the Studios where all eight films were produced.
Your New Role...
- The Set Lighting Administration Apprentice will provide administrative support to the Set Lighting Department, working alongside the managers and a coordinator to support all ongoing admin requirements.
- The role will ensure efficient service delivery of services to our clients and customers.
- Demonstrating adaptability, the apprentice will support the admin team to allow for the smooth day to day running of the Set Lighting office.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Purchase Orders: Managing all aspects of the PO life cycle including raising and tracking POs and maintaining the spreadsheets, goods receipting, collating paperwork and handling queries
- Receiving, processing and issuing incoming queries to the relevant parties to ensure a quick and efficient resolution of queries.
- Monitoring of stationery and merchandise supplies and ordering as required.
- Accurately filing and maintaining records for Set Lighting, including data entry.
- Ensuring that mail is despatched in time for daily collections, and the sorting and distribution of incoming post.
- Welcome visitors to the department and direct them as appropriate.
- Ad hoc support to the Set Lighting office team as required.
Qualifications & Experience...
- Our apprenticeship positions are designed to be an alternative to university education, therefore we are only seeking applications from people who have not already graduated from university with a degree.
- Computer literate with MS office skills.
- Ability to cope under pressure and communicate effectively to clients and colleagues, responding quickly and appropriately to requests, using own initiative, and being prepared to ask for help and advice when necessary.
- Hands on approach and commitment to get the job done.
- Ability to work well within a diverse team.
- Excellent phone manner.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise.
- A positive and patient attitude.
The Apprenticeship...
- Salary: £26,272 p/a
- Start Date: April 2025
- End Date: March 2027
- 25 days annual leave
- Qualification: Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship
- You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.
- You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers' series, special screenings and more.
