Your New Role...
The Producer II, Social Publishing on CNN's Audience Team will work to expand our reach and grow our engagement with audiences across multiple social platforms. You'll collaborate with teams around the world to create and distribute compelling content, drawing from your deep understanding of user experiences across top social platforms and the algorithms that power them.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Create, assign and edit highly engaging social content across multiple social platforms
- Conceptualize and execute impressive off-platform experiences that will expand brand awareness and user interaction
- Experiment with content formats that play to social platform infrastructure
- Analyze metrics, make data-driven decisions and identify trends to refine our audience strategy
- Lend social expertise to educate editorial partners on engaging presentations, and help provide feedback that can inform coverage decisions and on-platform offerings
Qualifications and Experience...
You have:
- At least 5 years of social media experience at a major news outlet
- Experience creating and supervising the creation of social content, including video, copy, visuals and multimedia offerings
- Exceptional news judgment with passion for publishing breaking news
- Meticulous editing and creative copywriting skills
- Experience using Chartbeat, Adobe Analytics and other metrics tools to identify actionable takeaways and better serve our audiences
- Outstanding communication skills with enthusiasm for collaborating with internal partners around the world
- Impressive propensity for multitasking and the ability to keep up with fast-moving streams of information
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop and post-production video programs such as Premiere Pro
- Leadership experience with an interest in growing management skills
- Flexibility to work holidays and extended hours as news needs require

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $82,740.00 - $153,660.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
