Your New Role:

The Mexico City (CDMX) Security Manager, reporting to the LATAM Security Director, will be responsible for the management of the ten contracted guards working in the Mexico City LATAM Security Operations Center. The Security Manager will manage the schedule and day-to-day activities of the contracted guard force at Torre Optima and will respond to the daily security requirements of the Security Operations Center and two Mexico City offices.

This position will oversee the monitoring of the access control and CCTV systems of all the Latin America offices and will train newly onboarded guards how to manage these systems and perform their daily duties, including frequent patrols, monitoring the systems, printing access control cards, and managing security incidents.

Your Role Accountabilities:

  • Drive WBD protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with WBD global security requirements.
  • Coordinate with WBD staff and executive level leadership to ensure security concerns are addressed.
  • Take the initiative to constantly improve the operations of the SOC and the safety and security of WBD staff and assets.
  • Manage the schedule and daily tasking for 8 contracted guards and two supervisors in the Mexico City Security Operations Center.
  • Conduct training sessions for new hires; assist new employees with getting their access cards
  • Inform the LATAM Security Director and WBD Corporate Security of any potential security concerns or incidents.
  • With LATAM Security Director, liaise with building management security to improve security conditions at the Torre Optima and Torre Diana offices.
  • Manage local security incidents. Escalate any concerns or serious incidents to the Security Director or WBD Corporate Security leadership team.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and security for WBD events as required.
  • Create procedures and processes to ensure efficiency in the SOC.
  • Work with Smartsheets to ensure records are constantly updated.
  • Maintain shared folder for guards so information is constantly accessible to the guard team and WBD Corporate Security team.

Qualifications & Experiences:

  • Bachelor´s degree
  • Fluent in English
  • 5+ years managing a Security Operations Center.
  • Experience using access control and CCTV systems.
  • Experience managing a third-party contract and numerous staff.
  • Experience managing security operations, including access card management and guard schedules.
  • Positive attitude and dedicated team member willing to work and grow a Security Operations Team.
  • Strong office skills, including experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft word programs.

Other Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of security access control systems
  • Experience running investigations that involve CCTV footage
