  • Your New Role... As FP&A CoE DTC Content Manager, you will manage one of the domains within the CoE which offers you a great opportunity to participate in the overall finance transformation roadmap setting standards for the FP&A processes related to content spend management.
  • Your main responsibility is to ensure proactive and timely high-quality forecasting, reporting and analysis of the content P&L and balance sheet. You will take a leading role within a team of senior and Junior analysts, and you will ensure deep knowledge and competencies are developed within the team to provide business stakeholders with required information to make educated decisions.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential as well as strong initiative and the ability to work well in a team environment.


  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other financial data analysis tools and techniques. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling.


  • Critical thinker and strong problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues, articulate findings and present optimal solutions. Proven ability to distil complex findings into a 'story' with actionable findings to support commercial decision making.


  • Proven ability to build confidence and trust based long term relationships with department members and external business partners.


  • Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.


  • Motivated by challenging, high-energy environment.


  • Strong organizational skills, very detailed oriented, and deadline driven.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • 4+ years' experience in financial planning and analysis.


  • Bachelors' degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA and other post graduate studies will be considered a plus.


  • Experience leading, coaching and developing teams. Ability to inspire others.


  • Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines.


  • Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite. SAP, Hyperion and SmartView tools knowledge will be considered a plus.

Experience working in Shared Business Services will be considered a plus.

  • Experience in Entertainment industry preferred.

II. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

% time spent

  • Work with business partner FP&A teams to evaluate financial impact of strategy/programming decisions (i.e. support preparing business plans, content ROI analysis, etc.). Generate insights on current questions, opportunities and challenges related to Content and Production investments and amortization. Elaborate, review and present value-added ad hoc reporting for senior management decision making. 25%


  • Support forecasts/budgets development for global scope by working with content budget holders to review and validate their bottom's up, providing assessment and recommendations. Provide variance analysis to properly explain actual and forecasted performance of managed area vs prior year/plan/prior forecast. 25%


  • Ensure high data quality of managed content databases with updated financial data points within these systems. Drive simplification projects to improve efficiency. Foster, facilitate and implement systems, process and routines improvements in the duties and task assigned to the teams under its scope. 25%


  • Become a reference for junior and senior analysts to provide high quality support to their stakeholders. Collaborate across boundaries, share best practices with other COE and business partner teams. Build and maintain helpful and productive relationships with key contacts in HQ and across the regions to encourage the flow of information and knowledge sharing. 25%
