Manager, FP&A (Data Center Operations)

Budgeting/Financial Management

• Manages the Americas Operations expense analyst team responsible for PR creation, forecasting/budgeting, reporting, analysis and business partnering

• Monitor, review and analyze weekly expenses to minimize & communicate financial risks

• Provide weekly flash reports to Senior Director, Americas Operations leadership team, and FP&A analysts. Summarize and/or simplify financial reports to support business partners when needed

• Consolidate and analyze annual budgets and quarterly reforecast submissions

• Ensure PR/PO process follows company policy

• Drive scalable and standardized business processes and promote continual operational improvements

• Partner efficiently with teams including IBX site operations, Ops Finance, Procurement, AP, Legal and Accounting to execute initiatives and improve performance

• Conduct Monthly / Quarterly meetings with AMER Integrated Solution leadership team to provide complete budget visibility

• Participate in Quarterly PRB meetings to provide complete budget visibility/reporting at a summary level and detailed project level for projects on the PRB agenda

• Conduct Quarterly budget reforecast Opex and Capex

• Create and implement process to provide reports to PMs regularly to follow up on invoices

• Ensure quarterly funds are committed and POs are paid on time.

• Provide monthly flux summary to Global Operations Finance leadership team

• Track and update Opex and Capex changes on Budget live files

• Track and manage Liquid Cooling Budget overall program budget of over $20M for all projects/IBX locations being managed by AMER Integrated Solutions team

• Manage and Track Financial impact due to legal delays

• Analyze and provide solutions for finance related queries

• Ensure resolution of invoice-related issues with AP

• Present Financial Summary MoM and QoQ to AMER Integrated Solutions leadership team and AMER Ops leadership

• Develop and implement process to present Financial Progress of each project and updates to project budget & spend with each project team

• Create, implement, and manage Project Budget Change Management process

• Collaborate with Programs and Projects Team leadership to implement project budget tracking with SmartSheet process

• Tracking funds moving from one project to another project MoM and QoQ

• Lead and support special projects or ad hoc projects

People Management

• Assesses and improves employee engagement. Responsible for hiring decisions, defining job responsibilities and balancing workloads

• Responsible for quarterly conversations, coaching and career development

• Responsible for succession planning recommendations and contributing to and driving the people development strategy

• Provide operational training for team when needed

• Ensures KPI's are in place for the team which are appropriate for the needs of the function and its stakeholders

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, highly organized, self-motivated/directed

• High attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to deliver projects on time, with exceptional level of quality

• Able to provide sound recommendations to help customers achieve their business needs

• Able to comfortably speak to and engage audiences during meetings and/or presentations

• Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent experience

• Minimum 4 - 6 years of Finance experience, preferably in FP&A/Corporate Finance

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing employees

• Experience in Hyperion, Oracle R12, Excel, SharePoint & MS Office. Knowledge in Coupa, Anaplan & Power BI are a plus.
