Your New Role...
Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Director, Production Services to support our production processes for WBD original productions. This role involves close collaboration with production and post production teams to ensure a smooth workflow and high-quality content delivery.
Your Role Accountabilities...
- Assist in managing the production process through to final delivery.
- Ensure efficient workflow and timeline adherence for multiple WBD original productions simultaneously.
- Collaborate with production personal such as producers, editors, sound mixers, colorists, and other production and post-production professionals to maintain high-quality standards, ensure consistency and maximize efficiency.
Technical Expertise
- Assist WBD original production teams in ensuring all production and post-production equipment and software are up to date and functioning optimally.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
- Work with original production teams to develop end to end workflows and solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in post-production technology including media networking, cloud storage, collaborative remote editorial, etc.
Technical Support
- Provide general technical support to WBD original production and post-production teams, helping them navigate and utilize the studio's digital toolset and facilities.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of media networking systems and cloud storage solutions.
- Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing workflows.
Production Leadership
- Introduce production teams to the studio's digital toolset.
- Provide guidance and support to WBD original post-production teams, helping them navigate studio processes and tools.
- Act as an ambassador for the studio, promoting best practices and studio standards.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Support team members in developing their skills and advancing their careers.
- Serve as a production management leader, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
Qualifications & Experiences...
- Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in post-production, with a focus on WBD original productions.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality content on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including editorial, sound, color, and visual effects.
- Expertise in post-production software including Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams.
- Technical proficiency in post-production software and equipment, including media networking and cloud storage solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with file transfer tools, such as Lucid Link, Aspera, Signiant, Resilio, etc.
- Experience with production tools such as, Scenchronize, Pix, Frame.io, Flow, Sync on Set etc.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $119,826.00 - $222,534.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
