Your New Role...
As a Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving success for the WBD APAC Communications team, with specific alignment to the Max streaming service and title Publicity across additional channels and platforms within Southeast Asia, Taiwan & Hong Kong. We are looking for a highly organized, collaborative and strategic team player to lead and execute publicity strategies across multiple markets.
The role reports to the Senior Director of Communications, Southeast Asia, Taiwan & Hong Kong and will work closely with other cross functional teams such as Affiliates, Streaming, legal, Marketing, Programming and Creative.
Your Role Accountabilities...
• Support Senior Director of Communications on developing publicity strategies and lead on title and channel publicity including title launch / sustaining strategies, physical activations, junkets, interviews, talent management, global liaison.
• Develop end-to-end strategy for new productions as well as to sustain efforts for Max.
• Manage agency liaison and activity, including strategy development, content / asset distribution, review and monitoring.
• Develop clear KPI's and measures of success for all communications initiatives.
• Develop and manage effective relationships with key partners and affiliates.
• Support efforts to build the WBD corporate identity across markets aligning with Corporate Communications.
• In consultation with Senior Director of Communications, Southeast Asia, Taiwan & Hong Kong, contribute to management of internal and external crisis situations when required.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and cross functional teams to deliver against strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
• At least 7-8 years of Communications experience; media or agency experience in Southeast Asia preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship and operations skills.
• Fast learner with an ability to adapt techniques based on requirements.
• An open mindset and will seek out feedback to refine and develop their skills.
• Good time management and multitasker.
• Passion for entertainment, titles, and Public Relations / Publicity.
• Respectful individual and committed to securing quality results, going above and beyond.
• Business or conversational comprehension of Simplified & Traditional Chinese and / or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
