What you'll do:
Lead the discovery phase of large software engineering projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams to determine project strategy; interpret strategy into sustainable architecture and solutions; identify short and long-term solutions and timelines; and drive prototype development to ensure concept is feasible.
You will be partnering cross-functionally with Product, Data Science, and other EMs, to understand the data landscape and influence the methodology choices.
Identify opportunities at the engineering and product side and influence leaders and engineers to solve high-impact problems.
Partner across the Engineering organization to establish strategic plans and objectives to improve the mean time to detect and the mean time to restore.
• Lead project teams for engineering projects by providing direction regarding architecture and design; provide guidance regarding project issues or roadblocks;
• review and approve proposed solutions; implement new architectural patterns; and perform design and code reviews of changes;
ensure stability and scalability of the platform Root-cause analysis of complex problems involving multiple parties, networks, hardware, and software that relate to scaling and performance.
What you will bring:
Bachelors degree with 12+ years of experience in software development, ideally focusing on distributed applications, system integrations, and big data management.
Leadership experience in solutions architecture and design.
5+ years of experience in building and managing large-scale distributed, scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
Experience in Apache Hadoop, Map-reduce, Apache Spark, and messaging Systems such as Kafka.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Exceptional analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Good to have AdTech experience but not mandatory.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
