Senior Manager responsible for leading agile practices, managing associates, and collaborating with business and product teams to drive successful outcomes.

This role requires a balance of servant leadership, coaching, and team development to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce.

What you'll do:

Scrum Master:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to enhance productivity.
  • Guide teams on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Track and report sprint progress, team velocity, and key performance metrics.

Manage Associates:

  • Oversee team members’ performance, workload distribution, and professional growth.
  • Ensure alignment of team objectives with business goals.
  • Provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and support career development.

Work with Business & Product Teams:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, priorities, and product roadmaps.
  • Communicate team progress, challenges, and dependencies to ensure transparency.
  • Align development efforts with business goals and customer requirements.

Develop Associates:

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering skill development and career progression.
  • Provide training opportunities and promote a culture of learning.
  • Encourage innovation, teamwork, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Agile & Scrum Expertise – Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and best practices to lead teams effectively.

Servant Leadership – Ability to support, empower, and remove obstacles for the team rather than directing them.

Coaching & Mentoring – Strong coaching skills to develop team members, enhance collaboration, and improve performance.

Stakeholder Collaboration – Ability to work closely with business and product teams, ensuring alignment between teams and company goals.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area. Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.

Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area., We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
