The Senior Manager of Finance DA and Strategy will lead business insights and the data strategy for the Walmart US Segment Finance Team. In this role, you will collaborate with Finance Leadership, Product & Engineering, and Merchandising to deliver reports and insights that will improve the accuracy , depth, and functionality of Walmart financial data.

You will be responsible for the data strategy of sales, financial metrics, and item/order profitability data assets. Data strategy work entails advising on data enhancements, producing Powerbi reports or models, analyzing data to find solutions that provide better decision-making grade tools and support strategic initiatives. You will also problem solve complex and ambiguous challenges, using data to understand the root cause of problems and work collaboratively with the business and engineering to design durable solutions.

Cultivate Relationships - develop strong relationships with stakeholders, including influencing strategy direction and deliverables. Recommend technical and conceptual ideas to establish understanding and acceptance; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders.
Consult with Partners - consult with internal organizations on strategic initiatives by, developing high-level project plans to achieve strategic goals; prioritizing and aligning work streams within corporate strategies and leadership goals; integrating and prioritizing timelines, tasks, analysis, and team assignments; and ensuring proper planning, testing, and delivery of high-level strategic initiatives.
Think and Act Strategically - align and recommend strategies, activities, and best practices. Partner with cross-functional teams around the business. Document project scopes. Develop project plans and project timelines. Communicate with and influence decision-makers and executives within the organization.
Act as a Change Agent - lead change to achieve desired results by, aligning and defining transformational change and processes. Validate value and priority. Create both short-term and long-term project plans. Assess readiness for change, manage expectations, adjust approaches to have positive company change adopted by the entire organization. Ensure timely project management and implement sustainable change within the business unit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 4 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area OR 6 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area;
- Masters: Business Administration; Economics; Statistics, Engineering or related field
- Strong SQL (writing complex queries), Python, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, PowerBi, dashboard development, or other data analytics and visualization tools
- 1+ years of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects
- 1+ years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience
- Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
